About

Raino Garmes, founder of Garmes Wellbeing

I’m Raino Garmes, founder of Garmes Wellbeing — a consultancy that helps companies catch stress and burnout before they turn into long-term absence.

My work starts with reality. I don’t send out a survey and wait for a dashboard; I come to the work floor and watch how people actually work. The early signals of overload — the shortened conversations, the small avoidances, the things people stop saying — never show up in an HR report. They show up in behavior, and reading behavior is my trade.

I hold a degree in psychology and four years of hands-on counseling experience, currently as a group counselor for children with autism — work where missing an early signal has real consequences. That is the lens I bring to your team.

A wellbeing scan is not a report that ends up in a drawer. Every observation is translated into an answer to one question: what should change first? For restaurant Cue in Faro, Portugal, I ran a team wellbeing scan alongside an operations audit, showing the owner exactly where staff were struggling and what to change. I also advise founders one-on-one, including clothing brand Tropix in Aruba.

Wondering what I’d notice in your team?

My approach

I don’t start with surveys. I start by being there — watching how your team actually works, where pressure builds, and what people do when they think nobody’s watching. Then I tell you what I saw, in plain language.

Observe first

Every engagement starts on the work floor. Stress signals show up in behavior long before they show up in your absence numbers.

Act early

You get a written report: what’s happening, why, and what to fix first. Catching burnout early is always cheaper than replacing the person.
